Why would I need/want to know this?
There are various reasons for wanting this information. An example is if you are a Web Developer and need to know what browser a client is using, (for trouble shooting purposes etc) you can send them to this page and easily have them identify what browser is being used. No need for lengthy explanations about where to find this information within their browser or operating system.
